Bronwyn is the Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Pharmacy Council, the Accreditation Council for pharmacy education in Australia. Prior to this she was the Chief Executive and Registrar of the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand. She has had a varied career in pharmacy that spans practice in hospital, community, GP facilitation, education and regulation in New Zealand, Australia and the UK.
Bronwyn has a keen interest in the development of new and expanded scopes of practice for pharmacists, and the education for such roles, and was instrumental in implementing the pharmacist prescribers in New Zealand. In 2012 she was awarded a Fellowship of the Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand for a significant and outstanding contribution to the practice of pharmacy.
Bronwyn is a member of the International Committee of the Life Long Learning in Pharmacy conferences and is the Host Convenor of the 12th International Conference on Life Long Learning in Pharmacy to be hosted by APC in Brisbane, Australia on 6 – 9 July 2018. See www.lllpharm2018.com
